SIGNIFICANCE OF PHYSICAL FITNESS EXERCISES

 Physical fitness exercises are very vital for the body to be healthy and fit. What a person puts into, he or she gets out of it is the mantra of exercise. It is not a one-day affair. An individual doesn't need to work for hours to get perfect or a healthy body. There are many exercises and each has its importance. Some exercises are more tough and efficient than others. Along with exercise, it is important to have a balanced and nutritious diet. There are different exercises targeting different areas of the body. Let’s get an overview of some physical fitness exercises:-

Walking: - Walking is the most affordable and simple exercise which can be done by anyone anywhere and anytime. Mostly walking in the morning or evening is preferred for good digestion, posture and cardio health. The beginners should start walking for 5 to 10 mins in a day.  Never increase the speed immediately after starting walking exercise rather should be done gradually. A good pair of shoes is all you need to keep the condition of your feet good.



Strength training: - This is very essential for muscular fitness and strength. Explosive strength, Endurance strength, agile strength, maximum strength, relative strength, speed strength are some of the types of strength training. For example, Squats and pushups done back to back are great for endurance strength.  Endurance strength uses both aerobics and anaerobic ways to be in motion and stabilize the posture for longer periods. Pushups are great for the chest, triceps and shoulders. It can be done at any level.

Non-communicable diseases such as heart disease, strokes, diabetes are controlled with regular physical fitness exercises. Healthy body weight and mental health are crucial for a good life.  It increases the quality of life and well-being of individuals at every age.
